Here it is. Ordered from signs.com; quick turnaround, decent quality, about $40.00 shipped.very nice engine plaque !! would you mind taking a close-up pic? where did you have it made??
3m VHB 4" X8" Double Sided Foam Adhesive Sheet Tape 5952 Automotive Mounting Industrial Grade Very High Bond 5952 (1 sheets 4"x8") https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00LXLHU9O/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_FMGDJKH84KZMMRWH1XVM?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1How are you guys mounting these. I just got mine. I don't really want to make holes in the cover as I do detail the engine ( I guess it would just take more precaution).
I also do have a whole separate fuse box incase something went wrong. Also, with mods coming I'll need to update the info..so that means another plaque.
How hard was it to take the sticker off? Seems like that might be a pain, but I like the end result, since it makes the cover flat.I purchased a second cover. Removed the fuse placement sticker, cut alot of the hump out of the cover. Replaced the sticker to cover the hole and silicone the plaque down View attachment 297411
Is this how you did yours? If so, did you press/clamp it down to make the cover flat?3m VHB 4" X8" Double Sided Foam Adhesive Sheet Tape 5952 Automotive Mounting Industrial Grade Very High Bond 5952 (1 sheets 4"x8") https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00LXLHU9O/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_FMGDJKH84KZMMRWH1XVM?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Yea rivets, not sure I saw to many attached that way, clean though. So, yours is at an angle?Everyone does it differently. Part of the fun.

Ok, looks good!View attachment 297412 No angle. It sits flat just a hair above the arched cover at the center and raised at the corners using the rivets as stand-offs with copper tubing cut to about 1/4" or less around the rivets between the cover and the plate. Then a thin washer inside the cover to hold the rivet from pulling through the plastic when you set it and a bit of RTV silicone over the washers just to be safe. It actually comes off pretty good, just have it alittle warm and peel slowlyHow hard was it to take the sticker off? Seems like that might be a pain, but I like the end result, since it makes the cover flat.
Looks good, thanks for the info. Thanks mike929. For unknown thermal effect reasons I decided not to have it attach directly, but sit above like a fin on a heat sink. A note about the 304 stainless rivets - they take a bit of force to set, depressed the plate just slightly around the rivets, making the rivets look sunk in just a bit...Wasn't expecting that, all good, but, it pulled down the assembly a bit tighter than measured for...Another fun task doneView attachment 297434
That is awesome! Question - Where did you find the graphic of the car's profile at the top of your plaque? I'd love to get that to make a couple embroidered shirts. Thanks! When listing options on the plate?…am I the only one that put “gas guzzler tax” there?
It wasn’t standard at the Holden line, listed on the window sticker, and I paid extra for it! View attachment 297441
It was done by Chris Frech. Search for him on Facebook He does a lot of graphics work. That is awesome! Question - Where did you find the graphic of the car's profile at the top of your plaque? I'd love to get that to make a couple embroidered shirts. Thanks!
I didn't do anything at all to protect mine. It's been installed for over six months, and looks no worse for wear so far.
Looks good! Is “MER” the order code got the Tremec 6 speed? This post helped out, I did mine all on-line using Adobe Express then saved and downloaded the .png. Just finished mine and will order at Signs.com to purchase. With the discount applied.
Came out the way I wanted it. Need to tweak a few things.
