Yeah on Facebook people were posting the numbers Chevy Chat was giving them. We had 4660, 4008, 4009, and 4088. I'm waiting for the official release too. These don't make sense haha.

Pure speculation but looks like this turned out to be true...

So if we are at around 1900 left to be delivered, I wonder how many of those are already spoken for or sold? This is quite a high number, and based on it with summer months soon ending I would expect to see another 10% minimum, probably closer to 15-20% clearance sale here in a few months.

171 last month and now 150, as expected. But let the flood gates open now that some/all are being marked down 20%. Looks like we may sellout by end of November, though I bet we'll still have some leftover into the new year, just not very many.

227 sold in August. LOL at the year over year change (14 to 227) but that's all due to the stop sale.

There are probably around 1,325 left to be sold, or somewhere in that ballpark. Historically August is the last better month for sales before you start to see a dip into September and on. If there are no (clearance) sales offered like the 10% or 20% previously seen, GM will probably sell 150-175/mo on average over the next 3 months. Probably around 100/mo into the winter months.

At this pace there could still be about 500 left by spring, again assuming no big clearance sale. On the other hand if a 10% or let alone 20% is offered and we get anywhere near 500 sold like there was before, these could sell out much much quicker.

It probably means for those on the fence, you have some time to hold off and "wait and see" into next year. This assumes you would want an auto. Just get ready to pounce if a sale comes around.

November is when sales of cars like these slows down for the winter months. Last time there was the 20% off I believe 500 were sold, but that was in like a week or so prior to the stop sale.

I'd be surprised if all 900-1000 (or however exactly remain) all get sold in this cold weather month with a big holiday. I could see like 700 selling, leaving a few 100 at most. Then I think dealers will start to gouge as the outstanding number begins to drop under 100.

1200 sold in March. Let’s see what November brings. Fitting this hit a week and half after the plant shut down. A good way to put a fork in it.

But, if these numbers are true, then the ratio of automatics to manuals is 28%. I can then reasonably assume that roughly 28% of the OBMs were manuals. . .and they only made 398 OBMs so my car is potentially 1 of about 111. Woo Hoo!

Ratio would be about 33% manual based on 4008 total. I'd expect a color like OBM to have a higher % of manuals. Look at past years ... the more unique colors are 50-50 or even higher on the % of manuals.

In the final 12 months of production, Holden exported 4008 Chevrolet SS sedans to the US, and 652 Caprice PPVs.
