12,953 total production. Still quite a few left to sell.
So if we are at around 1900 left to be delivered, I wonder how many of those are already spoken for or sold? This is quite a high number, and based on it with summer months soon ending I would expect to see another 10% minimum, probably closer to 15-20% clearance sale here in a few months.

Just curious is there a way through insurance data or otherwise to tell how many have died?

I think so too. I don't think they are going to want them sitting on the lots too long.

awesome bit of information... as far as printing, I'm wondering if you could format it with no left & right margins on the paper, so the info prints bigger... I looked for that when I printed off a copy, & I wasn't allowed to format the page...

As far as printing goes, it would probably be best to download the file to your own computer and open it in Excel and print from there. Then you can change the margins of the print to whatever size will work best for your printer. Unfortunately, none of the pics will work when in Excel though as Excel doesn't have a native way of displaying images within the cell as I have done here. They can only insert a floating imaging or put an image into a comment. Literally the one thing Google Sheets does that I like more than Excel, along with easier sharing. I guess that makes it 2 things lol.

To download: open the document, select "File" at the top, then "Download as" and select the format you want.

Looks like the cars.com estimation method was close again for July SS sales as 1565 remain and the estimate was 1570+.

As of 8/1 1565 remaining to be sold minus 252 total remaining M6 vehicles equals 1313 automatics that remain to be sold if the 4008 production number for model year 2017 is accurate.

Tony, I see you are in Bartlesville! I am located in Claremore currently but am actually from Bartlesville. I have a 17 OBM M6 right now. we should link up sometime.

Hey, welcome back @firehawk238!
Been a while since you posted. Nice new ride BTW!

So are you not in El Paso, TX any longer?

I saw you on the owner's map as the only other forum member in El Paso . . .

Map update time?

OK, so how would I or anyone else get production numbers on our car??
After your post count is above five, you can send a PM to @Chevrolet Customer Care here on the forum requesting the build info on 201x Chevy SS VIN #{insert full VIN}.
They usually reply back within a couple of weeks.

Info is currently available for the 2014, 2015 and 2016 model years, BUT for folks such as yourself with MY2017 SS, the wait will be a few more weeks.
Once the 2017 Production Stats (as in the link in post above) are posted by CCC you can send them your request.

Repeated for emphasis so the repetitiveness hopefully stops.

The more you waste CCC's time asking this the less time they have to help people with actual issues.

I updated the sheet with some obvious highlighted notes on the "Overall", "2017 Info", and "Miscellaneous" tabs to point out that this info isn't available for 2017 vehicles until the production breakdown is released. Makes it look ugly as heck, but it's a very visible ugly that can't possibly go unnoticed, plus it should only be around for a little while longer before the info is released. It's also been mentioned in this thread multiple times and on many other threads.

But yes, please don't overwhelm CCC with requests for info that is not yet obtainable by them. CCC helps with all forms of requests, not just production and build info. They are very much involved with trying to help forum members solve vehicle issues, find dealers and others who can help with fixes, and many other things that could be time sensitive and important to someone with a messed up vehicle. That is also why build info requests can take up to several weeks to process (not quite the word I was looking for, but you all get what I'm saying haha).

Thank you for the information, folks, as I came here looking for insight... Having taken delivery of my first SS Sedan (2017 Orange Blast Metallic), I am eager to gather production stats.
Welcome RedRockCamSSOrangeBlastSS!
I should have mentioned in the post about PMing CCC for build info that post count must be above five before the PM function activates. Of course the 2017 info won't be available for a while yet so that shouldn't be a problem.
