Mine only took two or three days, can't remember which.

I was floored by how fast they came from all the way over there without insane shipping cost. I don't know how they do it but then again I don't know a ton about international shipping anyway, other than it's a pain to set up, and expensive.

fender to the ground is the worst way to measure , best is from the fender lip to a lip on the wheel , either the lower lip or upper lip

going to the ground can be changed by the tire , being different sizes , air pressure , all effect a measurement done that way , the lips of the wheel do not change , unless the diameter does , in which case its either 1/2" up or down depending on the diameter
Only consistent way to measure is the fender lip to the center of the wheel. If you have 13s or if you have 22s it would always be the same.

is there a dot in the center you can find ? using the calculated eyeball method doesnt get exact center either :nerd

also you cant use the outter diameter of the center cap , as not all are the same diameter

Yeah, Sparesbox is great. I got my stuff from them in Australia faster than I get stuff from Amazon.

These are Kings SL front and back. Car looks a bit pink as it was getting dark. Will take a better picture tomorrow.
Car did have Eibachs on it and I have the measurements for them, will get the Kings measurements tomorrow.
Thanks to 91RS for showing the way. That is how I wanted it to look.

Doesn't look too much different from the SSLs honestly. You do install yourself? Looks good.

Some more pictures and measurements. Springs were not installed by me. I did the back springs once and that was enough!

US Eibachs, I call them that as there is an Oz version but I don't believe they are the same thing.

If you are having that much trouble finding the center, measure to the bottom edge of the center cap, measure the center cap, divide center cap measurement in half and then subtract it from your measurement. If you have to be that exact.

Different size tires, different size wheels, as well as a bunch of different other factors can make it so measuring anything other than fender lip to center cap is a completely irrelevant waste of time.

String, plumb bob (or socket tied to the end of a string), a level, painter's tape, and a marker is how I do it when I have time.

Tape string across diameter of center cap, mark center cap ends and fold string in half, mark halfway point or just measure halfway and mark. Tape string back up across center cap. Hang bob from fender lip so it runs over center mark of cap. Use level to determine where center intersects with bob string. Either mark that and where the string meets the fender and measure later (off the car), or use tape measure now. A heavy bob might stretch the string and if you mark it and take it off to measure, that might be a problem. But if you're using a small socket at the end instead, you should be good to mark the string and measure once it's off the car.

There are probably better or easier ways but that's how I do it. But I haven't done it right on this car yet, I will get to that tomorrow probably.

New to this thread sorry. Should I read all 292 posts or is there a summary post someone can point me to?

Much appreciated

There are two easy ways to find the center (although there are more only two really work on a wheel). Google "how to find the center of a circle"

FYI, The center of the wheel to the edge of the fender is the unofficial standard all car forums use.

The Eibach's look just like the SSL's.
