I just finished installing the rear standard height coil KHRS-152 (same part for both VE and VF Commodores) springs this weekend. Up front I have the super low coil KHFL-150SSL (VE Commodore - comparable to super low coil KHFL-151SL for VF Commodore). This rear spring is not progressive unlike the other King springs. Also, it is a heavier and thicker spring. It is even heavier (9 lbs 5 oz) than the stock G8 rear spring (8 lbs 5.4 oz). The rear lowered coil KHRL-152SL (same for VE and VF Commodore) that I took off weighs 5 lbs 13.5 oz.

The rake is rather severe and it's not possible to get a jack directly under the front end of the vehicle; lifting with a jack from the sides is required. My plan is to raise the front from the super low coil KHFL-150SSL (VE Commodore) to the lowered coil KHFL-150SL (VE Commodore). The car does feel very good coupled with the Koni strut inserts and shocks though.

I have a lightly used (1-2 week at most) rear set of lowered coils and super low coils for sale.

There is another spring I believe in between on the rear which fits. It is mentioned in the King Springs catalogue for the WM Holden Statesman/Caprice. (long wheel base) KHRL-152. I would guess it would be taller than a KHRL-152SL and lower than a KHRS-152. All the numbers are quite tricky to follow! I will try and take a picture of them next to a set of KHRL-152SL and post it up here.
Do you have pictures of your car? Just interested to see what it looks like. I have US Eibachs on my car, yes I got them sent the other way. It handles well with Bilstein shortened shocks but it might be a bit low for me, as there are speed bumps at work.

I would highly recommend getting the SL springs front and rear or SSL springs front and rear and not mix them as King suggests for the VF. The mag ride must have some affect on the height of the rear (unless the Aussies want the rear lower?). I know it was hard to tell in the pictures but in person it was very noticeable. If you look at the OP's pictures you can tell his is lower in the rear also but not as noticeable with the factory wheel and tires. I'm very happy with this now using the SL springs front and rear. The ride is fantastic, only slightly more firm than factory but not harsh or crashy even in sport mode on the suspension. So far, I have also not had any rubbing in the rear with my fenders not being rolled going over the same dips 10-15mph faster than I could before.

That does look good. I had come to the conclusion that those were the springs. The SL front and rear after doing a lot of reading. Like the wheels to.

Some confusion happens when King Springs mix the springs for the VF Commodore V8. They put L on the front and SL on the back, one spring lower on the back. SL on the front and SSL on the back, SSL on the front and SSSL on the back.
On the VF Commodore V6 they use SL all around, or SSL all around or SSSL all around. Think they compensate for the different engine weights by putting a taller spring on the front of the V8.
The US Eibachs I find ride very well in my car, however I don't have magride, I have shortened Bilstein shocks. (Don't get magride in the SS here.)

Has anyone found Bilsteins in the USA? I can not find them and they are not listed on the Bilstein USA website. However I know they exist as you can get them in Australia.
Pretty sure that some or one of the suspension shops makes them in Oz using Bits from Bilstein and bits from Holden.
Another shop makes Bilstein coilovers. Only recently I have seen Tein also coming up with coilovers for the VF.

These are Kings SL front and back. Car looks a bit pink as it was getting dark. Will take a better picture tomorrow.
Car did have Eibachs on it and I have the measurements for them, will get the Kings measurements tomorrow.
Thanks to 91RS for showing the way. That is how I wanted it to look.

Some more pictures and measurements. Springs were not installed by me. I did the back springs once and that was enough!

US Eibachs, I call them that as there is an Oz version but I don't believe they are the same thing.

I'm not 100% sure if I'm remembering correctly but I think one is for the G8 generation and the other is for the SS generation. Both use the same rear spring.
Yes, the 150 is for the VE Commodore/G8 cars.
Just to confuse things, it looks like the Caprice has the same cut-over in the numbers between WM and WN.
King Springs have a new catalogue on their website if you scroll down their webpage.
