I have not changed out the turn signals yet. They are on the to do list which takes second place to my honey do list. This weekend reseeding the lawn, probably will not even start the SS up.:(

put in the LED bulbs - yes the color is better than stock but they still provide ZERO light down the road. Anyone done anything to replace the fogs with something that is actually useful?
That's not really the purpose of a fog lamp... Driving lights would be different.... you would need different housings with a different beam pattern...

Exactly - we need a new projector that fits into that area.

Driving lights are to provide additional light for either fill (side to side coverage) or spot for distance.
Fog should cover very similar to fill but with a stronger vertical cutoff - they are still supposed to put light on the road.

The current fogs have zero reflector design and do nothing more than put a "white" spot on the front bumper.
Totally Useless!

How and why auto manufacturers decided that fog lights are a design feature and don't have any need for providing a real usable purpose I cannot imagine, but there are drivers that actually travel in foggy conditions and having a usable fog light would be a real value.

So, if anyone gets pissed off and does find something to replace the mechanism that we currently have - please post it.

Has anyone tried Maverick Man's LED fog lights. and are they as good as advertised ????

I assume they are plug and play ?

They are, I switched over from yellow ones that I bought when the car was new. They light up much better than the stock ones and a little brighter than the yellow ones that I had. They are both, useful when used alone and fill in below the headlight low beam very good also.:grin
