Yep. RPG is very distinct (like the purple) in that regard. At first, it was my top choice -at times I still kind of regret not getting it. However, it's so drastic under poor lighting that it looks black. My wife pushed me toward the purple because it still looks 'purple' under poor lighting, just a different shade :biggrin:

Though if a tan interior were available with the green. I wouldn't have cared...I'd still be waiting today if I had to.

It's all good. The depth certainly doesn't appear in overcast or low light situations, but when the sun hits it, it is a beautiful thing. :thumbsUp:

 

It's a sweet car in any color, but that purple is special!

Recognize the Queen City in the background. Picture must have been taken recently, as I can see the All Star decorations on the Scripps Center that recently went up. Are you another Greater Cincinnatian or just in town recently? Also that purple really does look good.

Really like the black rims with this color. Trying to decide if I want to keep the chrome on mine or black it out, but want to see what it looks like in person first.

 

Love the HSV front end.

In my 'money is no issue' thoughts, I'd get that. For now, I'll probably just slowly continue to black out the chrome bits. Just having the blacked out side vents helps out tremendously. I'm thinking next about doing the DRL surrounds - I think the front end would look much better if the only chrome rings were around the center grills.

 

FYI - you can't get an SS in Australia in Alchemy. The colour is only available in the Evoke (poverty pack), Calais and HSV.

It is pretty unpopular here (I really like it though) - there are less than 100 new or used Alchemy VF Commodores on carsales.com.au at the moment.

Only thing I've done so far. Think I'm going to black out the fog/DRL housings next. That should be some nice contrast up front.

 

That purple is fantastic! I thought I'd like the purple and black better, but to me the chrome looks better.

 

Some is good. Stock, there's just too much!

 

I agree - part of my playing in Photoshop was changing one part at a time, and doing different configurations to try and see what combos I liked the best.

Oh no. Oh no, after 6 weeks with her, I actually do like the Chevy badge better. Oh no, Paul's **** just got here yesterday, too (incidentally, taped to the inside of the boxes and braced with pool noodle sections that he hot glued in place. His reputation is well deserved).

But all my friends and family want to see the lions on now...:blink:

EDIT: Love the DeLorean license plate, and I think purple calipers would be badass. I think it would look fantastic. Not sure about the black wheels though, but that HSV someone posted with them sure looks the business.
