Bolt pattern is the same and they will fit on the SS. The stock Camaro tires are a little bit too tall and will just barely rub on your front fender liners. I put 255/35/20 on the front and 285/30s on my car and they fit and look great. I've seen full sets for sale for as low as $300 for just the wheels and $800 for tires/wheels/tpms. I cant figure out how to put pics up here but they do look good on our cars.

Wheels are 20x8, 20x9. Tires are 255/35/20, 285/30/20. Offset is a little different than stock so they widen the track some but don't rub at all.

 

yeah, if they're not in pristine condition, max would probably be 300 for just the wheels. Tires are not going to do much good, too big, but if they have decent tread, I suppose you could re-sell them for $ 50 each or so.

 

I have black camaro 20s on my g8. My gf thinks I should swap them to my SS... But I just don't know...

 

Wheels do look good but are heavy heavy, about 32lbs a wheel. Add tires and you're over 60lbs a corner.

 

I was quoted 36 a wheel, which is significant. You'll see that weight in the hit to your MPG and 60' times. Camaro 19's are the way to make a Camaro 1LE much quicker.

Unlikely. Try camaro5.com for the weights. Camaro SS wheels are cast and over 30lbs each. SS wheels are forged and 24-26 lbs each.

I have a chance to buy a set of Camaro SS wheels and tires. They are 245/45/20 and 275/40/20. Would this setup cause any issues. Will it be ok? Rubbingeven a little won't work, I'd rather not get them. Please let me know. Supposed to pick them up tomorrow. Thanks.

No but sometimes the old wheels have a little corrosion built up around the hub area that need to be cleaned for easier fit.

I have these on my G8 GT and as I may be getting a Red Hot SS, I was thinking about moving the Camaro SS wheels over to the SS, but would like to see better pics of this specific wheel on the car... Not the revisions (like the Perfect Blue earlier in the thread...)
