I'm assuming when you buy the Holden badged airbag, it's a full assembly airbag and Holden cover

Question 1: When the airbag deploys and it's replaced, do they reuse the same cover with the Holden logo or do they need to use a whole new assembly?

Question 2: If they re-use the same cover, why can't we just buy the cover and not the entire airbag assembly?

Question 3: There has to be an explosive in the airbag assembly. How does UPS or Fedex deal with shipping them to a residential front door? I can understand business to business because there most likely is more than 1 in the shipment and provisions are taken for the explosives.

 

The cover splits open when the airbag is deployed and requires an entirely new assembly when replaced. They are shipped as hazmat when properly shipped and placarded.

Mission accomplished. Holden airbag from eBay/OPG installed. Original Chevy airbag likely to be listed here for sale soon.

Holden conversion and black out trim conversion now complete. Probably will not mess around with the infotainment head.

 

I'm kicking around this idea as well. If I can get a good price on a Holden bag, I might do it.
