So how would one in the U.S. get the front and rear bumpers from the hsv to put on an ss. I understand it would be pricey just wondering how i would get the parts.

Sorry haven't checked the forum in a while . for anyone who is interested i have started exporting hsv bumpers to a few in america .

if you have the money and want to spend and get the bumpers across i generally get them every month or two .

for anyone who is interest i have a hsv VF clubsport REAR bumper as pictured . 1 boot as pictured with hsv spoiler , and another of the gts with the high mount spoiler . i have contact with a shipping and a crating company that you can use if anyone is interested .

some final pics of the car at its current state.

genuine of coarse , 5000kms old in the bottom pic. bumper price is $800 USD for the one shown. shipping and crating is roughly $700 USD from memory on the last bumper i did . you will need to pay your own custom clearance on your end when it arrives .

man i wish i had the money for this. Mine is white too! Wasn't there a discussion a while back about the taillights being different from the SS. Furthermore if one wanted to put genuine HSV tails they would also need the bumper since?

You need both the bumper and the taillights. One won't work without the other because of the different shape of the bottom of the light.

That is what I remembered but was not 100% Thanks

This should be helpful for whoever has the deeps pockets to do it in the states.

yep you will need the tail lamps and bumper . or if your only after the tail lamps there is a kit to buy that shows you how to mark and cut your bumper . seen a few people do this

So jealous of your car OP!

Is that bumper still available?

Other than the tailights, whats needed to complete that rear bumper install?
the rear is still available - to make it complete you only need the reflectors , you can drop or adjust your exhaust hangers to allow your pipes to run through the big 100mm holes or

i have another bumper complete with tail lamps all ready to go , looking about $2300 US

also a complete GTS boot with Hyperflow spoiler available as well .

if anyone has interest , can workout freight and costs etc . did a bumper the other week and happy buyer as a result of this

so i began the endeavour of upgrading my front end from a 2015 SSV to a 2015 VF HSV clubsport front end . i purchased all the necessary parts only to remove my bumper and find the wiring loom connectors are different , there are 4 additional wires on the HSV loom which i was assuming is for the DRL lights to dim whilst the head lights are on .

i was at the cross roads of doing the snip and match the same colours on the loom which were in the same position , but i didn't want to go through all that to find it screwed up everything .

would anyone have any light to shed on this , I'm quite stuck as far as knowing what i should do , there shouldn't be much to change as it has the same amount of sensors , the fog lights are the same , it is just the DRL .

any help or info would be much appreciated .
Nathan, did you have to change the bumper support bar or the foam behind the bumper at all?
