snoot, another option suggest by Spohn themselves was to use the overly-compliant stock knuckle bushings to your favor... and just run the trailing arm bolts out. Yes, they'll hit the control arms & it'll look like no way you'll get the bolts to back out further - but keep going with open-end wrench. As you back them out further the rubber bushings will allow bolt to slide under control arm & after awhile they'll be out. Replace bolts in same manner.

Yes, the bolts will grind their way out/in & scratch the @#$% out of your control arms, but it does work. Try a little grease on control arm to help the bolt slide across.

I found installing toe links was WAY more work than trailing arms, so look at bright side - you've already done the hardest part ;)
Thanks Bud Appreciate the tip

I know - scratching anything is hard to justify, even under car & basically out of site. I cringed doing it, but a bit of grease did help.

The damage really wasn't that bad & I touched-up with caliper paint - looks fine. Control arms are next on replacement list anyway ;)

Ok, IMA gonna do this. but where do you find caliper paint?

Look for ceramic hi-temp paint. Probably not required for the control arms, but hey - why not...

Dupli-Color makes both spray & brush-on. Most others are brush-on. Check out Amazon, or even local parts store.

Do these come with the grease fittings already greased? Or do we need to grease them ourself? I'll be ordering some of these soon.

Spohn recommends greasing after install and and vehicle is back on the ground with synthetic silicone grease Spohn part # 902 if you care to use their grease.

I offer the arms with the grease and since I'm a distributor for them since 2004 my pricing is cheaper then their online price.

Are you saying you grease these before you ship or that you offer the grease for sale ?

Spohn greases them before they are shipped. It never hurts to add some more though once they are installed.

Thanks for the info guys. I'll be sure to add a little more when i buy them. I still have some grease left over from installing UMI suspension products on my 4th gen. Camaro & Spohn products on my Ram.
