I may very well regret asking this but...

Are you aware of those headlights are compatible with our cars over here?
Where would someone find a part number for them?
They look mean and would go great with a full blackout of the body trim which is a look I've been trying to figure out how to achieve for a while now.

I think that because we (Australia) drive on the left, the headlight aim my be different,
but I cant see any other problem.
There used to be a bloke on here called "crazy Paul" that did Holden parts for US customers.
Maybe search for him & ask???

A lot of asking, begging and other people's good will. Lol. Original dealer I bought the car from painted them and the dealer who did my Holden conversion installed them.

Phase 3 on a budget done today ... white door handles (vinyl wrap, not perfect, but temporary) and black side vents. Tomorrow is phase 4 in my anti-chrome crusade - the front grill trim goes (and maybe the window trim too.)

What kinda of vinyl did you use to wrap the door handles? Does the color match the rest of the car pretty well?

Also the wheels look nice! I'm been going back and forth trying to decide if I want to go with gloss black or a color similar to what yours.

Vinyl: My local graphics store just gave me some free scraps so i decided to experiment. 2 different whites - both shades of 3M Scotchcal. Apparently, the Heron white has some gray in it and most white vinyl wraps were WAY whiter. This was the closer of the 2 they gave me, but as you can see from the pic its not a perfect match, as the vinyl is still bit whiter, but from more than a couple feet away, its hard to tell. Its a whole lot closer to Heron than the chrome is, though. :wink

I did it just to see how it looked (much better, IMHO) and eventually I'll buy door handles and have them painted by a dealer, which appears to be the only way to get a real match.

Wheels: Thanks. I went with metallic gray (Anthracite plasti dip) just so the wheels and tires weren't a black hole and there was a little bit of color. All just personal taste and there are a lot of awesome looking black tires out there as well.

I can tell you that if you enjoy driving more than washing and waxing White is Right because it even looks good in the rain.
