Is the LS3 grille badge not too noticeable? I'm a little anal about things like that and am on the fence about putting the Ls3 in that SS slot.

That was my only gripe... The ls3 badge fits, but the angles don't quite match the 'ss' sides' angles. I made the best of it... Here it is:

I see what you're saying there. If only you could bend the top of the leg on the "L" in a smidge, it would be perfect. You're probably one of the few who will ever notice it though.

Plasti dipped the wheels in Anthracite Grey over the weekend and added splash guards. Phase 2 complete!

Black chrome is my next purchase....
Black chrome works too! So long as the black doesn't blend in with the tire and dark wheel well beyond, I'm okay with it. A satin or flat black usually just blends in too much and you lose all definition of the wheels. Of course, these are my only opinions...

I took some photos of my car to play with some "look" options. This rear 3/4 view seems to be the best angle for the SS. The proportions for this car are really good. If Chevrolet made all of their cars with this much attention to detail, Honda, Toyota, Nissan, et al would have never happened.

It's telling that GM is willing to shutter this plant and go with a generic car to replace this platform. Business people have no place running an automobile company. When car people run things, you get a Commodore. When business people run things you get a Malibu. Similar, yet totally different -

When you say plasti-dipped the wheels, does this mean you did it yourself? They look nice. :smile

Thank you.

Yes, i ordered a wheel kit from DipYourCar.com - just prep and spray (plasti dip comes in many colors and sprays from a can just like paint, except you can peel it off whenever you want and you're back to your original wheels.)

Coming May 19 (I hope) GTSR.
Heron white, Black roof, M6, spare.
Will post proper pics when the car hits my garage.....

I may very well regret asking this but...

Are you aware of those headlights are compatible with our cars over here?
Where would someone find a part number for them?
They look mean and would go great with a full blackout of the body trim which is a look I've been trying to figure out how to achieve for a while now.
