Just trying to see what the record is for the fastest stock ss in the 1/8th and 1/4th. I ran a new pb today of a 12.83 @111 bone stock auto car
Man i don't know what's up with the time and date. Guess theyre too lazy to fix it. I did manage a 12.6 @112 today tho.
Here is a youtube in car vid of a stock manual going 12.80.I don't have any time-slips to prove it, but if I got called out to a knife fight to prove it......Our other members can back me up here, Am surely doubtful you can get a sub 13 ET with the MT car...For best results, leave it in drive and let the "auto" car sort-it-out for your best ET.
Nice. Here's my 12.6. Only got to make 1 pass that day because it started raining.
Nice meeting you today. Car runs great!I was there today. DriverMod's SS is the fastest pure stock that I have ever seen. His 1st run today was 12.74 and I didn't see later runs because I had to leave really early. That is one good running SS
Wow thats fast. How the heck???Just trying to see what the record is for the fastest stock ss in the 1/8th and 1/4th. I ran a new pb today of a 12.83 @111 bone stock auto car
1.9 was the best I could manage in my manual. Just a Roto-Fab intake.Based on the slips I'm seeing this thread it seems like mid 1.9's is about all you're gonna get for 60' time huh?
Great times for everyone.
It could be the extra 2hp from the bimodal exhaust.Does anyone have this by the years?
It seems like the 2016/2017 is faster.
True that will make a difference, but I think alot of it comes down to launches as the variations in time are quite large. Especially from the MFG claims. It could be the extra 2hp from the bimodal exhaust.
If the LS3 is anything like other LS motors there seems to be a pretty large (20 hp or so) difference between one motor and the next. Some get lucky with factory freaks!
Track prep, DA, driver/car weight (spare, no spare?), then even things like fuel (91 vs 93 octane, E0 vs E10) matter as well.
Then there's the driver mod. Launch style changes things too. Power brake or not? which mode to go in?
So many stinkin variables.
