Bump, said it before but great work smann. Looks like it's updated thru 10/31/16 reflecting the high number sold/delivered in October (554). Less than 5% of all SS remain to be sold, 417 or 4.7% to be exact.

If sales stay consistent with 2015 into 2016 then Chevy may be all sold out of new SS by January or so. If on the other hand dealers continue to offer a 20% discount and November ends up being another good month there may be zero new ones left to buy come 2017...excluding MY '17s of course which are yet to be reflected or delivered here.

Will be interesting to see what happens once they are all sold. What will happen to the used price?

Updated with October sales, the number of new vehicles remaining per Beach Bum's comment, and some various other small updates

That's great info smann - thanks for compiling all of that and keeping up with it. I'm curious as to what happened in April of 2016 to cause that spike - was there some sort of incentive at that time as well?

Not sure about incentives or so as I wasn't looking for one around that time. Only thing I can think of is that people generally start buying sporty vehicles in the spring to enjoy them over the summer. And 2016 had a change in the looks, so maybe that's what it was.

Pretty sure that was because of 0% for 72 months or something similar.

Got bored again so made some fun changes to the sheet!

- Added a "Fun Tool" tab (last tab) where you can put in your specific vehicle info and it will give you all the facts about it, plus pics that are specific to what has been entered!
-- Keep in mind that everyone can change these so try not to mess around with it while someone else is putting in/reviewing their info
-- You can also download it to your own computer by clicking "File" at the top, then going to "Download as", and selecting "Microsoft Excel (.xlsx)" (Unfortunately, the pics won't work when doing this because of the difference in Google Sheets and Excel, but everything else will!)
-- When changing things, the sheet needs to save your changes before it will update the info and pics. This can take some time, especially on slower connections.
-- You need to open the sheet in a Google Sheets app in order to actually change things. You can't change anything if you just open it in your browser.
- Updated the pics on the "Miscellaneous" tab to better ones, included Nightfall Gray Metallic and Orange Blast Metallic pics, and adjusted the fill colors to try to better reflect the actual color (This is kind of hard to do with the metallic paint colors since they can look very different in the light and dark. I did my best haha.)

- Added in a "Requests" tab for people to put in requests if they want.

- I will update with the February sales once they are released. (Just released)

- I have also asked Chevrolet Customer Care for the specific order windows and production dates for each year. I will update the sheet with those once I get that. Just some interesting info to have.

The link to the sheet can now be found in my signature. The Direct Link takes you directly to the spreadsheet.

Chevy is wishing they had data analytics as good as this on all their cars. Great job! Am going to enjoy playing around with this.

Glad you all are liking it because some of that was a pain to make hahaha. It's amazing how simple something seems in your head but how complicated it is to code. I might add some more stuff later, but for now it will do as it is.

Hey all, found a problem with the fun tool and fixed it. The "Has Spare?" No and Yes were swapped when saying Yes to the sunroof.

Yes to Sunroof and Yes to Spare would give Yes to Sunroof and No to Spare.
Yes to Sunroof and No to Spare would give Yes to Sunroof and Yes to Spare.

So all of you with a sunroof were given the opposite info on whether or not you have the spare. These are corrected now!

I also added in warranty info for all 4 years just for reference haha.

Thanks for taking the time to do this.
Really interesting to see how 2017 will end up affecting the numbers for folks like us that had their color discontinued (Mystic).
Getting more rare based on overall numbers, for every new sale made this year.:smile

very cool. just put in a request.
I tried to freeze the columns like you asked, but unfortunately it won't let me due to the merged cells at the top.

It would also end up freezing the stuff below the main chart up to column E (the numbers, percent, and their descriptions) which would make it look really weird and would cut off the "Auto + Sunroof", "Auto + No Sunroof", etc writing at the end of column D and makes them unreadable. So I tried it in just column A but it puts in quite a large and unsightly bar that can't be changed at all to signify the columns that are frozen. That bar also shows up in the mobile version, even though it oddly doesn't freeze the rows there. Need to be in the Google Sheets app for it to even work.

Google Sheets doesn't have the best formatting haha. I did shoot off a request to Google to allow temporary freezing of columns and rows, just like how everyone can make their own temporary filtered views separate of the main sheet that they can sort A-Z, Z-A, etc.

EDIT: Check it out now. I put colored lines in between the sections that correspond to the exterior colors. Also, I did copy over the color coding in column A to column AA at the end of that table to make it easier for people coming from either side.

And on a side note, love the name... Goddamn it, Butters...
