That COPO 632 would definitely change my tune about the Camaro. 🙌🏼

A 10.4 liter naturally aspirated pushrod engine making about 100 HP per liter? With a 7000 RPM redline?

I can remember when naturally aspirated engines that made 100 HP per liter were out of the box was stuff of race bikes and nothing else.

On 93 octane pump gas no less. Looks like that comes out to about 97 HP per liter. I'm making about 93 per, with 20,000 miles on the build, does that count?:)

If I put a "10.4" badge on my car, most people would be wondering what kind of partial marathon I was running and never consider displacement...
This passage stood out- Chevrolet explains it tested the new crate engine thoroughly with one engine easily covering more than 200 simulated drag strip passes on a dynamometer.
Did they only test ONE engine? If more than one, how did they fare? I'm guessing it's just poor wording as is the norm nowadays.

1/4 mile drag strip passes ? X 200 .. so they put a little over 50 miles worth of passes on it ? 🤔

Big difference between street legal 20k miles and track use only miles. 😉

"As with the rest of the COPO Camaros, the 2023 version is a purpose-built race car, which means it isn't street-legal. It doesn't come with a title or a VIN but will come with a Bill of Sale."

Gee, guessing Jay Leno and similar, monied car folks are 'excited', but per the above, for me it's about as useful as the teats on a bull.

These COPO cars bring back memories of when I first started following drag racing, and my favorite cars were the ones "Grumpy" Jenkins built/drove. And the new ones still wheel stand like the old Super Stocks did!

I love it!

Bought wifey $3K diamond ring for Christmas...gave her another $4.5K yesterday for Son's KSU Spring Semester Tuition. He automatically transfers to GA Tech next summer with 3.8 GPA

Got my lottery ticket...DADDY needs a COPO and a PETE to haul it from MegaSanta!
