Does the matching shift knob work on the 6mt?

Also any idea on shift boots? Maybe chopping up and gluing the zl1 boot?

Any feedback on this? Would be interested in this mod.

Ended up buying a wheel and shifter knob and boot. Should arrive today, can't wait to get it swapped.

Yes manual. But I bet there is a auto version. I will do some checking.

Looking at the trim peice, Is the zl1 wheel larger than ss wheel?

Here is where I located the p/n for the manual. It is not clear from the description that the suede was an option for the auto.

Agreed. I have an auto SS but for those with a manual SS, the ZL1 shifter looks awesome.

Swap done. A little tweaking required. Broke a few plastic tabs. And almost blew a gasket when the right switch came apart on me and little bits flew everywhere . But all is good looks and feels great. Love the SS on the trim too.

I like the suede as trim bits on the SS but can't see it holding up to the constant fiddling a steering wheel and shift knob experience.

Time will tell. For now it feels really good though. I like how it is grippier, if that makes sense.

It will eventually get matted down but you can get kits to brush the fibers and fluff them up again.

OK after 2 + hrs the boot and knob swap are done. That was much more painful than I hoped. The suede boots is too big and required some cutting. Had to do a little sewing too attach it to a plastic ring that clips to console bezel.
