I haven't driven a high end car with EPAS so can't comment on how those units feel. The EPAS in the SS is fine for even most enthusiasts wouldn't be able to tell the difference. The average guy or gal on the street wouldn't have a clue what EPAS is let alone hydraulic setups

Press the TCS button to turn off the TCS then press again within 5 seconds to activate competative drive mode. This keeps the stability control active but makes it less sensative allowing you to push envelope further before it starts cutting power to keep you from losing control. Press TCS and hold for 5+ seconds and you can completely turn off TCS and Stability Control allowing you to do whatever your hear desires.I'm wondering if he knew about the competitive mode setting for the car, that adds more feedback and effort to the wheel.
