A tip for you guys who are thinking about spending the 2+ days it takes to manually (or with a script) power download and save the complete manual as PDF's and save $180...Read the terms you accept when buying access.

The system tracks and saves your usage.

A person in Australia did this. He is not a happy camper.

I checked the Helm site that was referenced on post #2, but it does not show the Service Manual available for 2017. Is that coming, or do we need to buy the 2016 version? and ... I once again want to display my ignorance to all things automotive.

I think it really sucks that you pay $50K to buy a product and the manufacturer wants $300 for the manual. OK, I get it when it was printed books; as there are cost associated with printing, stocking, warehousing. But in these Internet times, when all documents are electronic, this is ridiculous. I was able to download the service manual for my $500 Samsung washing machine for free. Why do I need to pay $300 to buy a manual that tells me what each of the fuses in my car do, or for that matter to connect to the cars' computer and download data?

Ok, I feel better now that I ranted.

Can you point me in the right direction. When I look under 2017, this is the info listed. The 2016 shows the service manual available.

Buy the way. I thought there were no SS sales in Canada. Why is there a Canadian warranty document listed, in French no less. Probably the generic Chevy warranty document for Canada.

I don't believe Helm has released the 2017 shop manual yet, but it shouldn't be long now. IIRC it has been around October each year.

The 2016 manuals where released just a few months ago. You're likely going to have to hurry up and wait for the '17 manuals just like us '16 owners did.

I am just a little confused. I figured that service manuals would be made available when the cars started to be sold. By now the model year run is 2/3 sold out, and the was that shipping delay coming from the land down under.
