From what I have seen there has been only a few SS's in the US. 2 Pace cars and one that has been at the shows. There is probably a media embargo on when they can release reviews. However, I'm nervous that the publications haven't received cars, because nobody has leaked a pic or two.
can you post some links to them here? would be great to see any information surrounding those VF commodore media drives, might help us get a better idea of what to expectThe Aus version is undergoing media drives as I write this. So alot of what is written will be a good indicator for the Chev SS. They are driving through the Snowy Mountains and Canberra.
All information and reviews will hit the press midnight May 30 Aus time.
Thanks. Two more days. The Aus version is undergoing media drives as I write this. So alot of what is written will be a good indicator for the Chev SS. They are driving through the Snowy Mountains and Canberra.

I would love to see how it drives through the snowy mountains. Just to see how the handling characteristics are and how the body roll turns out to be so we can determine it for the chevy SS.The Aus version is undergoing media drives as I write this. So alot of what is written will be a good indicator for the Chev SS. They are driving through the Snowy Mountains and Canberra.

60% of the cars chassis is all new numb-nuts.Not going to happen.
The reviews were released 5 years ago.
Just google G8 GXP road test. :bangheadonwall:
I do know allot about these cars, which makes you a really sad case. These reviews are NOT PR releases. They are independent reviews by motoring journalists that have nothing to do with GM. What they say is at complete odds with your fantasy that the SS is the same car as the G8 GXP.Here we go again.
Another dumbass with 4 posts thinks he knows everything.
Stop reading prepared PR releases like they are the Bible.
It's all marketing bull$hit.
It's the SAME car with some minor tweaks.
If you guys knew anything about these cars, and GM's detailed model history, you would already know this.
Everything you say is an ASSumption, with a good dollop of BS. Like a piece of snot you can't flick off your finger.Sorry, I ASSumed most of the members here were car guys and educated LSx owners.
If your case, I guess you're going to have to figure out how to use google.
The reviews by independent journalists, you know, the ones that just re-churn GM PR BS according to you, say the much improved automatic is an obvious choice over the notchy MT.Nah.
I'll hang out to see what the dealer invoice is and to see if GM pulls their head out of their ass and offers a manual transmission.
Also, I will hang out to call you out on the fact that you are clueless and that you are NOT buying one.
I'm inexperienced and stupid because I report an independent journalist giving his opinion of transmissions? I must say your powers of comprehension are second to...everything.Thanks for proving how inexperienced and stupid you are, AGAIN, by saying the auto is preferred to the manual.
I'm daily driving a new C6. The Camaro is an overweight pig with a horrible interior and poor visibility.
I will ask you AGAIN.
What are you driving daily and what toys are in YOUR garage ???
