So when can we start expecting some reviews of the SS? Any one in the car media/publication get their hands on a SS yet, and just waiting to release their review? Or is Chevy still holding onto their cars?

There is probably a media embargo on when they can release reviews. However, I'm nervous that the publications haven't received cars, because nobody has leaked a pic or two.

The Aus version is undergoing media drives as I write this. So alot of what is written will be a good indicator for the Chev SS. They are driving through the Snowy Mountains and Canberra.
All information and reviews will hit the press midnight May 30 Aus time.

From what I have seen there has been only a few SS's in the US. 2 Pace cars and one that has been at the shows.

Haven't seen anything about any other SS's in the U.S. Since production just started we might have to wait a couple months before anything pops up.

I would love to see how it drives through the snowy mountains. Just to see how the handling characteristics are and how the body roll turns out to be so we can determine it for the chevy SS.

The last thing I have seen about the chevy ss was during the reveal at Daytona. Ever since then there was not much info disclosed about it. I would like to get some feedback on the SS and how closely it resembles the Commodore HSV.

Here we go again.
Another dumbass with 4 posts thinks he knows everything.

Stop reading prepared PR releases like they are the Bible.
It's all marketing bull$hit.
It's the SAME car with some minor tweaks.

If you guys knew anything about these cars, and GM's detailed model history, you would already know this.
I do know allot about these cars, which makes you a really sad case. These reviews are NOT PR releases. They are independent reviews by motoring journalists that have nothing to do with GM. What they say is at complete odds with your fantasy that the SS is the same car as the G8 GXP.
Why is it, when faced with facts, you continue your campaign of misinformation?
What a goose! Or is that troll?

Do you think they made it up in hopes no one would call them out? I suppose you've crawled under it and verified that GM was infact lying?

Better question, since you are a complete jerk in every post you write insulting everyone, where is the moderation on this forum? Why has this guy not been banned for single-handedly lowered the quality of this forum?

PS, 4 posts on this forum but this isn't the first forum on the interwebz. I own a TBSS and GTO and know a little bit about GM's cars.

Nah.
I'll hang out to see what the dealer invoice is and to see if GM pulls their head out of their ass and offers a manual transmission.

Also, I will hang out to call you out on the fact that you are clueless and that you are NOT buying one.
The reviews by independent journalists, you know, the ones that just re-churn GM PR BS according to you, say the much improved automatic is an obvious choice over the notchy MT.
If the manual is so important to you, and the SS is too expensive, why haven't you purchased a Camaro SS 2SS? Put your money where your mouth is and forget about the Chevy SS.

Thanks for proving how inexperienced and stupid you are, AGAIN, by saying the auto is preferred to the manual.

I'm daily driving a new C6. The Camaro is an overweight pig with a horrible interior and poor visibility.

I will ask you AGAIN.
What are you driving daily and what toys are in YOUR garage ???
I'm inexperienced and stupid because I report an independent journalist giving his opinion of transmissions? I must say your powers of comprehension are second to...everything.

If you are driving a new C6 what is your interest in the Chevy SS? Why are you here when you obviously hate the car so much? You come onto this forum with one intent, to spread lies about the Chevy SS. That is what trolls do. No-one here is interested in listening to your slop.
