Has anyone purchased / received a set of wheel locks for your SS?

My dealer promised to get me a set since they do not come on the car, but they claim that there aren't any available. Been waiting since Nov '13.

Was hoping to get a set at time of purchase. Dealer also said they weren't available. Noticed you can find them in the Holden VF Accessories Catalog.

If you go with aftermarket make sure you get "acorn" style.

I read somewhere that VE wheel nuts are different to VF, so everyone be
careful not to fit VE/G8 nuts to your SS.

My SS came with one "locking" lug nut per wheel. There is the special socket with the correct pattern to fit these lugs in my glove box. I thought this was stock from the factory.

I purchased Gorilla Guard locks for mine, 14 X150mm acorn style fit and blend in nicely. Have a shield that spins so its harder to just take a socket and hammer it on and remove lock, which is how most thieves do with locks. They will still get your wheels if determined to but these locks would slow them down. Have them on my ZR1 wheels on my Vette as well.

I read somewhere that VE wheel nuts are different to VF, so everyone be
careful not to fit VE/G8 nuts to your SS.

The VF locknut kit & VF screw-on caps for locknuts both have way newer Part Numbers than the similar VE parts. There's more than 50 VF locknut kits available to me, but zero of the screw on stainless steel caps (4 req'd per locknut kit).

All..I purchased the "Gorilla" locks from Discount Tire and paid $25.99/set..They did have to order so I got the Chrome to match the other lugs! (I did look at the GM styled but WAYYYY to expensive!)...
