Howdy, y'all! (felt obligated). Maybe when we get a few more SS running the streets and highways in this great state, there'll be more chatter here on this site. Sure wanting mine to get here. Have not seen a single unit on the streets here in Abilene yet, but there are at least six on dealer lots within a 30 mile radius, so it shouldn't be long til some are cruising.

This weekend I'm going (from McKinney) to Austin to "celebrate" my 40th birthday. I have every intention of taking the SS down TX-130 in the 85mph zone and just opening it up

130 is a good place to do that, I've been fortunate enough to be able to use that road fairly often!

Just drove on it today going to San Antonio. I had the cruise at 85 in the 80 mph zone and a state trooper came up fast behind me with his lights on but he kept going. Brief scare, I was already asking myself: why does he care that I'm going 5 over? Then I got paranoid due to my lack of a front plate. There is nothing like the relief of a cop passing you to get someone else!
