Mobil 1 Full Synthetic is my oil of choice. If Mobil went out of business tomorrow, Valvoline also has a pretty solid full synthetic.

Have used Lubrication Engineers http://www.le-inc.com Monolec Ultrablend 10W30 in our 2001 Acura MDX since new. Dealer oil changes every 5k miles with a new Acura filter. Oil is a red color & dealer, once or twice, had to check that it wasn't ATF fluid:) Recent valve adj inspection at 140k & inside top of motor looked as new.

On the VT, I used Lubrax Tecno semi-synthetic 15W40 (didn't really need good winter spec in Brazil...)

On the Duster, I only changed once in the dealer so far, recommended brand is Elf.

Hi guys

I've been doing a bit of research lately into oils for both my VF SSVR and VF GTS. I know some people like Mobil 1, others Royal Purple, some Amsoil.
What I'd like to know is has anyone tried Pennzoil Ultra SAE 5W-30 as yet? The specs read fantastic.

They do make an exceptional product for our vehicles called Pennzoil Ultra SAE 5W-30 and Platinum SAE 5W-30, both have Dexos1 ratings plus a swag of other industry specifications to their names. Fully synthetic and highly respected in the US for use in LSA engines. Not to mention Hennessey uses and recommends Pennzoil

Pennzoil Ultra Pennzoil Ultra Full Synthetic Motor Oil - Pennzoil

Pennzoil Platinum Full Synthetic Motor Oil – Pennzoil

It's very interesting to note that both products were tested and the Ultra was found to keep pistons 25% cleaner than Mobil 1, 35% cleaner than Valvoline SynPower and 40% cleaner than Castrol Edge with Syntec
Platinum was 8%, 17% and 20% respectively.

Unfortunately in 2010 Pennzoil pulled out of Australia so Pennzoil is unavailable here so I'd like to find out from anyone in the USA who has used it what do they think and how have you found it before I try and import some

Thank you :)
