Like the title says, went autocrossing with the SS since my regular ride was not available. I got crushed by cars with BFGs but it was expected. Not something I would do on a regular basis with these tires. They are a much better road course tire for sure. Still fun though.

I've wondered about autocrossing the SS! I've raced Corvettes in ASP and SS for years. I would still likely take the Z06 out again if I wasn't so swamped with business. But it would be fun to thump the SS!

Where is Red River Region?

What settings did you use?
Hmm, good question. My first thought would be all nannies off like I usually do in other cars for autox but then you wouldn't have access to the stiffer shock setting. Right?

Go to track mode, then turn off the nannies? Wonder what that would do. I'll have to play around with that, if it ever quits raining here.

I use another car for autox but I'd love to bring the SS out some day too. Unfortunately, there aren't many autox events up here.

I went in MRC performance setting and track mode on the Stabilitrac. Enough leeway to have fun out of the turns and still have torque vectoring that I believe(?) is disabled with all nannies off.

Just make sure you raise your air pressures to at least 46-47 front/38-39 rear. This will help from rolling the tire over and riding on the sidewalls.
When I was running my '04GTO, I would start with tire pressure 50 or so, and mark the sidewalls in several places (each tire) with chalk. After each run can review where the chalk was scrubbed off and adjust tire pressure if necessary.

Be sure to put protective tape on front corners to protect from striking cones.

Not in the rears I hope.
All corners and then adjust. Now if really hot day/track back off a bit. Personal choice...did not want soft spongy tire any corner nor rolling onto side wall.
We also ran cool/cold nights.
Probably more knowledgeable and scientific process, this seemed to work w/o consequences. Held my own with vettes and Camaros
