Well my general manager let me rock the SS for the weekend. He knows I'm buying one eventually and I showed a few friends who were interested in buying one anyway. I think I might have scrounged around a few more sales for the store. Anyway It feels like a 4 door automatic version of my Camaro (which is a very good thing). It is a lot more refined in the interior and a little bit thirstier than my bolt-on SS. Overall I know I'll be happy trading my Malibu in on one, but just trying to prepare for the double payment and double gas bill (the only downside.)

If you didn't have a Malibu to trade in would you trade the Camaro for it? I have an '11 SS and would be trading that in if I went with the new SS.

Man that's real tough. My Camaro is a 1LE and its a manual 2 door. Don't know if I could give up a true sports/muscle car 2 door manual, but I know eventually I will have to. Until my mid-life crisis and I'll prolly buy a manual Corvette

Oh and I came up to an intersection twice today and the thing beeped and said Camera nearby!!! This thing detects traffic Cameras that take red-light pictures?

I may wait to see what Chevy will do with SS for the future. An LSA in the SS would make the switch from my Camaro SS much easier, plus I would still have my 02 Firehawk as my "manual two door sports car fix." We've been without options since 02 and know have too many. I guess that's a great thing as a GM fan. Decisions, decisions!!

I thought I recognized you!!!ance: Still got the Hawk, I see. I was on the Firehawk board, years ago, as HAWKNYU, until I had to sell my Hawk during the crisis.

So, you're going to get an SS...me too...!!!
