Wicked! I've only seen one VF UTE nurburgring video but seeing this video serious is even better, nice to get some insight on the track testing rather than just seeing it lap the ring
Thats the vehicle I really want (with the LS3 like the SS sedan). In fact I wonder how many seconds could have been shaved off with the LS3 over the 6.0 liter this one had. I'll keep dreaming for one.
Not that GTR the Skyline GTR R32 did the Ring in 8:22 driven by Motoharu Kurosawa So while you are correct in saying what you said, so too is CrusherSS
Thats ok. All the (what passes for) motoring rags keep comparing it to the more track focused Renault Megane RS Trophy which lapped at 8:07.97 back in 2011.
I know its a 4 banger and all but it weighs about 300 kilograms less or there abouts. It used stickier tyres and basically has race tuned suspension. I assume the gearing is biased more toward outright performance than daily driveability.
To be more fair I would compare it to the fractionally slower Camaro's Ring time. Same basic Chassis and similar kerb weights.
probably best we leave 20 year old right hand drive nissan skylines out of this and the newer LHD one's instead although R32 skylines are much more attainable than the R35 GTR.
