look like he has a full exhaust tune and cai i will be disappointed to if it was only 13'sMid 13's shouldn't be disappointing, don't expect the 12.9 magazine times. Lots of variables.

Normally I would agree. However go with AT LEAST 1/2 tank of fuel. You will need some weight back there. I went through the entire 1/2tank at the track. If you go with 1/8 of a tank and run out while there, not fun at all. Gotta keep that fuel pump submerged and cool.I dont think he was in second . My car almost NEVER starts in second in "D". Its obvious....first is EXTREMELY low, it shifts out of 1st almost immediately to second in normal driving unless you really put your foot in it. He definitely needs to have it in "Sport" mode. I would try a run or two using the paddles but doubt they will be any faster .
As mentioned , ET's are completely about the launch and traction. If he is at least under 2.0 60' he will run decent ET's (lower the better obviously). Trap speed will be the real indicator of his power. With what his dyno is showing , he should theorectically be capable of 113+ mph with good air and conditions.
Be sure everything is out of the car, go with only an 1/8 of a tank of gas (highest octane available), cool car between runs, lower tire pressure (and experiment a bit if needed), go around water box (but may try it also) for burnouts, try just scrubbing the tires with short burnout (just to get stuff off), HAVE FUN and dont stress about it!
Also, remember, many of the mag times are CORRECTED these days...not what they actually ran.
I would stop comparing your car to the Mustang first off.Shriker the 60' times were all 2.0 or slower whereas my 2014 GT Mustang ran consistent 1.7s and an occasional high 1.6. Car felt slow and was!!
Traction was no problem, tried tires first at 28 psi with almost zero wheel spin. If I was in 2nd it would explain that but it seemed dead also on launch so maybe it was in 2nd. Stock tires are Michelin Pilot Sport A/S.
I tried under 1/4 tank with Mustang to lighten car once and when it shifted out of first each run it nose dived starving for gas, been afraid to run under 1/2 since?? These SS cars may have different fuel pick up system??
Haven't tried the paddles at the track, I like the sequential stick better I think??
I appreciate your input and will post what happens tomorrow night !
