SSHAMM goes perfectly with a Biden, Harris bumper sticker. If you feel it amusing, keep it. it's about you not them.
Here are my thoughts. First and foremost, your car is a real Holden. A quick look at the sticker inside the driver's door on the B pillar will confirm that. Whether or not it is a Commodore may be the sticking point, as the Commodore was never offered in a LHD platform. Quite honestly your car and mine ('14-'15) were never offered with the LS3 in the Commodore either, so there's that. The Holden badges look great on the SS, and if my OCD didn't require the full conversion up to and including RHD I'd have put them on long ago, so you're good there.I feel dumb for asking BUT I ordered plates that say SSHAMM.
To explain a little bit, the HAMM means Haul Ass Mom Mobile.
And of course the double S. I thought it was funny that together it says sham because the car isn't what it seems at first glance. But, I have the Holden conversion and sham is seen as negative and I know it's kind of a controversial thing on whether or not the Chevy SS is a "real" Holden. So am I calling my car a fake holden when it was initially that the car isn't what it seems.
Keep the plates or get different ones?
Of course having a car they've never seen in a color they've never seen making sounds that some have never heard, my plate is just a candle on a cake or a dime on a dollar at this point.Downside to personalized plates is that if you ever make another driver angry it's very easy for them to remember you the next time they see you on the road.
My point exactly. It is a Holden but the reason I thought sham is funny is because people mistake it for other cars all the time. At first glance, they just think it's just another black sedan but it's so much more than that. It's not what it seems to be.Here are my thoughts. First and foremost, your car is a real Holden. As for the plates, if you like them keep them. I know well what it's like to have plates that nobody can decipher, and it is entertaining to me if nobody else. As @SS WOT pointed out, it's about you not them. If it bugs you that much you could always go with MOMSS

I agree. I have had several over the years, now, I use a personalized license plate frame.I thought about a personalized plate, but don’t want to pay the annual fee for the privilege. I already pay enough for subscription services as it is. 🫤
I'm in missouri and the one I originally wanted is taken. But we have a biannual fee and it's $12. So no big deal here.not sure what state you're in but Pa is a one time fee. No annual cost for it.
