This SS of mine is a really fine car but unfortunately the one I bought has so many creeks and rattles that I find myself so disgusted with it and thinking about what options I have to rid myself of this frustration. I will take it to the dealer Monday and leave it until they can find and fix the issues. Wish me luck!

Holdens are normally of good quality, but its what ive said before, its never good to buy a car when the manufacturing plant is closing, whether it be BMW or any other manufacturer. I wouldnt be surprised if your car was made after GM made the announcement to close Holden.

Sorry to hear you're unhappy with your car. Might PM Chevrolet Customer Care here & see if they can be of help. Only recall one other forum member that expressed regrets about buying a new SS. Wish you were enjoying your car as much as we do. Let us know how it goes.

Ask GM Customer Care (here on the board) to help you so they can inform your dealer of your issues..Then there is a log/history from you, the dealer and GM Customer Care of your issues should things not get fixed..

Mine has a few rattles as well. There is a small one in the driver side door and a small one in the passenger front door. I think I have pin pointed it. But, I just turn the radio up louder, then, the stupid speaker grill on the passenger front door rattles on certain bass notes.... smh...

Sometimes when I have the cruise control set to 63mph and I'm listening to AM radio, on channel 102.1, with the climate control set at 77 degrees Fahrenheit I see unicorns running across my hood.
Foreal though, it is so hard coming into a dealer and trying to explain the issue and portray how really unhappy you are with it. I'm sorry bro. that just sux.

My Firehawk(yes, I know it is a completely different car) did that as well, and of couse it had T tops. The point I'm making is, there may not be much that the dealer can do about it that you would want them to do. I fixed mine by installing subframe connectors( a popular fix for that problem on an F body), however, I worked at a Cadillac dealer and one of my customers had a similar issue with an early CTS we had to cut holes all throut the right rear of the car looking for broken spot welds!!! I don't know about you, but I wouldn't stand still for that.
Just make sure that you and the dealer can identify the noise as a problem before the work starts.

I'm a heavy metal fan, lots of double bass and so on. I hit 45 most every day. Not one time have I heard any sound, other than music,from the car or speakers. I have heard the amp clipping and turned it down just under the threshold. Sounds like your speaker bolts may have come loose.

I had the same thing on the drivers door. The guy at the dealership just ponded on the door panel and some loose clip locked in place, made a click while doing so (just like when you attach door panels). Rattle stopped. Try pushing the door panel in with moderate force, it might help.
Sounds like the guy on the door panel line wasn't using enough pressure to mount the panel.

No problems here to report. So far so good. Lovin my SS.
I will take and leave it Monday to the dealer and hope that they are able to find and fix. And yes, I have tried the increase the volume of the radio option but as someone else correctly pointed out, then the doors rattle and vibrate from the base. I've never had so much trouble with a new car. I dread taking it in. Luckily, I will have a loaner. Thanks everyone for your support and feedback. Will keep you posted.
