FWIW I am on my third windshield in the SS (Colorado rockies roads), they were replaced by Safelite through my insurance in both cases with Fuyao glass. Both replacements went fine, glass is fine, HUD works fine, etc. etc. Calibration was a non-issue.

I understand the worry, but after two I’m over it.

My experience with Safelite across multiple vehicles has always been good. On the other hand, the only time I tried an independent repair shop required a return visit.
