All...I took the SS to a well known Southern California exhaust customizer to ask some questions about our current SS system...They were actually pretty impressed based on the car etc...I asked about going with headers and they advised against it due our strict C.A.R.B laws here in California plus the cost and time involved with installation & non available currently...Axle-Back - said to stick with the current setup since no available products...Also if you want serious drone while driving 70-80mph for extended time install Loud-mouth type pipes as they will drive you bonkers in the cabin and really no HP gain noise...So looking for some input as I shyed away from altering the current SS exhaust since I drive alot...

You need J-pipes welded into the axle backs to reduce drone. Do a search for Solo G8 axle backs and you will see what I am talking abort. It's a crazy looking setup but works well at drone cancellation. It would allow for a muffler delete like the loudmouths without the drone. This only gains some extra noise without any appreciable power gain. When the solo axle backs are added to an otherwise stock system, they sound **** good.

Unequal legnth pipes (one side longer than the other)between the resonator and muffler also works to reduce or kill drone.

Agreed! Looks crazy but it works. Had Corsa on my first 2 G8's but then went to Solo on the last and just axle backs. Great product for the price....
