Bought a LPE LNC-003 for another vehicle and figured I'd test it on the SS for shits and giggles. Didn't stay on it too long since I don't want to kill my stock cats. I apologize about the poor video quality, my phone camera wasn't on the right settings.

Did you get any launches in? Did it bog or have wheel hop?
Only used it for what you see in the video then removed it. You wouldn't be able to launch off of this LPE unit anyway unless you have an aftermarket stall converter that'll let you stall up to a higher RPM. Even at that point it'll be useless unless you have boost.

I wouldnt say useless without boost. Maybe better suited for large stall or manual trans cars. It would get you consistent launches.

I was referring to it being useless on automatic cars. In my opinion even with a large stall it is pointless without boost since you can stall it up and hold the RPMs no problem.

With a manual car launch control is always helpful no matter what your setup is.

Sounds like Anti-Lag to me? is timing in the negative, firing with the exhaust valves open? if so, yeah for BOOST y0! Sounds Nasty.

There's Wot box's out there better suited for us n/a guys, but like he said, without a converter gl.

The LPE LNC-003 is a standard ignition cut rev limiter, no anti-lag going on here. The stock SS exhaust is pretty burbly from the factory, add in the raw fuel dumping into the exhaust from this two-step and you get the anti-lag like sound.

That's nut's, sounds like my Talon sitting on the studder box, dumping 10% fuel enrichment, pulling -11 deg timing and hanging its tongue out @ 4700prm. Ready to shatter the ol'drive train.
