Yes I agree even though I haven't seen it on the SS in the flesh. Silver Ice Metallic on other GM cars is a bit lighter than the pure silver metallic on my 2011 yukon which when clean is very light and hurts your eyes to look at (at least mine) in full sun reflecting off it!
