Hello all! I recently picked up my new SS after almost tripping over one at a local Chevy dealer. I had not seen nor heard of one until then. Two weeks later, I'm driving one!
I was a previous owner of a 1996 Impala SS, which I reluctantly sold a couple of years ago, and have been missing it since. The New SS is everything I've wanted in my old SS and more!!!
I'm looking forward to some good times with this car, and hopefully meeting some new friends to hang out with at car gatherings. I formerly belonged to SoCalSS, which was a local club here in, guess.... So Cal! We did the club drives, drag racing and weekend meets to show our cars off. I haven't seen another 2014 SS around where I live, so if any of you are local to me, PM me & let's meet up!

G'day and welcome, you'll enjoy the SS immensely. The closest we had to a SS Impala of that year would have been the HSV Statesman/ Grange

Hey man! I like the '61 Impala cross flags, I have the same on my (still owned) '94 AND was also a member of SoCalSS! I like the clear corners, exhaust, and chromed(?) wheels too! :biggrin:
Mine is showing it's age but is still my DD with 95k miles. :mellow:

Hello all, and thanks for all of the Welcomes! I'm looking forward to meeting you guys! KenzSS, I figured that if you had a BBB, you might have been a SoCalSS member, we need to hook up!
Today's update, I got my Clear Bra installed, Peter form Clear BRA PRO did it using XPEL film. AWESOME JOB!!!

It looks so good, I can hardly tell it's there!
Also, I added a little emblem to hint as to what's under the hood....just the one, trying to keep it SUBTLE!

Just a quick update on the Clear Bra, prior to having it installed, I asked what were the steps in caring for it. Knowing that most waxes are petroleum based, I thought that they would have an adverse affect on the film. I was told to use Turtle Wax Ice on it. I picked some up, and read on the package that it's recommended for plastic, rubber, etc. So I tried it out, and WOW!!! The look and feel of it on the film was just like a freshly machine polished, painted surface! I'm thoroughly impressed with this stuff!!!

Welcome always wanted one of those Impalas when they came out. But couldn't afford it . But the SS is years ahead of that thing! Well because it is. Lol!

I am in your area a lot as well as in OC. If you see my car it won't be hard to spot.

I know from reading one of your other posts your really not into the whole Holden swap but if you see it in person I am sure I can change your mind. Lol

Also there will be a meet with GTO, G8s and some SS in July in OC if you want more info on that let me know.

let me know when you are at WCC and i will stop on by. i know someone there. started working on bulb replacements again. trying to find a reliable supplier.
