So, now we have info, which would you choose? the fantastic looking CTS or the Wallflower with a secret SS? It seems standard equipment on even the base CTS will be similar to the SS so the biggest difference would be under the hood, as far as performance anyways.

Thoughts?

Neither.
My vote goes to the C7 Corvette or the Audi S6.

For 2015, the AMG C63 will be the choice.
But, I'm still holding out for the ATS-V and new Camaro before pulling the trigger..
hard to fit the C7 Corvette and S6 in a 46k question. But 2014-2015 will be quite the showdown for cars like the ATS-V and the all-new C63 and M3 coming out.

and if I had to choose between the 2014 CTS or SS it would be the SS since I can't get over the huge ass on the new CTS. You could rent out office space in that trunk.

but at 46k, like TT_C6 I would go neither, instead vying for a current gen CTS-V since those can be found with relatively low miles in that range.

What are you talking about?
RRP?
I am talking a NEW Corvette versus a NEW SS Sedan this year.

(Already regretting this conversation)
RRP ( Recommended Retail Price ) in Aussie is MSRP to you guys. Which seems to be where the similarities end.

In Australia it is illegal to sell above this RRP ( some companies probably get away with it though ) there are heavy penalties for breaching this though.

When looking at the way MSRP is dealt with over there I find it difficult that dealers and such get away with it but I guess different rules for different markets

I'd take the SS

SS. They definitely need a better front grill for the SS. I can't wait to see what the aftermarket comes up with. But at 6'4" and having previously ridden in the back seat of smaller cars, I decided I would never own a car in which a 6'4" person could not sit behind me. The CTS only has 36" of rear legroom. The SS and my G8 have 39". 36" is just a hair too small and uncomfortable.
