So I just went to the dealership to get my license plates... front plates are law in Texas but they look like chit.

So the guy in the service dept asks me if I have the bracket for the front plate... I don't, and say no.. he says he doesn't have one... I say, oh well, guess I won't have to drill any holes in the front of my SS.

I'll just tell any cop that pulls me over that it's "on order"

I didn't have one on my Armada for 10 years.

Im sure they will put that interaction into the system the first time they pull you over and then ticket you the next.

It will be best to get a hide away plate system $100 and you can avoid all that trouble cops will give you!

I'm thinking I'll run mine in the factory location. More of the sleeper mode and think it won't detract from the white car. Would go with the hide-a-way on black though.

The dealer gave me the front bracket but didn't install it and I don't have any plans to put it on myself. Had the car 3 months now and no issues with the fuzz. Lived in TX over 8 years with no front plate on the GTO and no issues with that either. I wouldn't worry about it.
