Love that regal peacock green it's like their version of british racing green.
didn't Mark Reuss say the SS color pallet will now match the VF's?

The VF is becoming a regular sight on the streets here now, and that Green is a very
prominent colour.
Holden had models in the late 70's in this colour and its like a time warp seeing it again.

On a side note I towed with mine today - car float & car, and it was awesome to come up to
some serious hills and be able to stay at 120 km/h with no effort..
Without a doubt the best model Commodore ever made.

Not loving that spoiler hope its add on not stock looks like a Subaru I call it a carry home handle on the Sub if it breaks.

I think that the spoiler is a bit of overkill. Makes it looks like its trying too hard. Rest of the car looks great though. Love the color.

Dont worry, Aussies miss out on quite a few things interior/mechanical wise compared to the chev SS. Holden SS makes do with heated seats only unlike the Chev SS with heated and cooled seats (can you believe that? In a continent as hot as Aus!), the LS3 and paddle shifts on auto models. Not even the HSV's have paddle shifts in their auto's. Not that i would buy an auto to be honest but still. I understand why Holden does without the LS3 but why dont Holden/HSV get the seats and paddle shifts?

SS doesn't get heated or cooled seats in any trim level. We also don't get drivers memory seat, electric passenger seat, auto dimming mirror or the aux video out on the back of the centre console.

This is copied directly from the Chev SS website:
'Hand-wrapped soft leather-appointed 10-way power seats are heated and ventilated allowing customization to different driver preferences.'

Also forgot to add HID lights for the Chev SS which Holden's version dont come with.

I should have been a little more specific in my comparison. I was actually comparing Holden's SSV with the Chevrolet SS, not the base Holden SS. Lucky b******* pretty much get a HSV clubsport for SSV money :tongue:

New headers and free flowing exhaust, a tune and a cold air OTR would work wonders just for starters. I'm not overly familiar with American tuner packages etc so will leave the detail to guys more in tune with brands.

What is it going to take to tune a ss similar to an hsv or better.

It appears anything for the G8 GXP should bolt straight up with little to no modification required. Although front suspension is totally revised due to the revised components.
