I've noticed since I've had the car that it's kind of noisy with the roof open. I noticed today that there is a significant gap between the roof of the car and the bottom edge of the deflecter.

Anyone else have this issue?

OK, thanks. Do you mean normal as in that's how it looks on your car, or normal as in that's how it is supposed to be?

Seems odd to me as I thought the purpose was to deflect wind up and away from the interior. Instead, in that position it is really just cutting a hole through the air and making noise. Maybe I'm missing something?

It's hard to clearly see from the angle plus all the black going on. However it doesn't quite look normal to my eye.
would it be possible to get a direct front on shot looking straight across the top of the roof. One way to make it show up better could be to place a white or light coloured sheet across the roof forward of the sun roof.

make sure to make a note of the likely issue and report it to the dealer and I would also suggest make contact with Customer care via this site or any other methods you are aware of.

If the battery isn't dead in the one on my dealer's floor I'll see what it looks like today since I have to stop by and visit. I've always just compared to another like vehicle or two for these kind of things with new platforms.

Not my first sunroof. What strikes me about this one is how noisy it is at mid-speeds say 30-50 mph. That's what feels different to me than other cars.

The dealer came back and said that's how the car is designed so they didn't change anything. If so I wouldn't agree that it's a "good" design but I can understand why the dealer would say that as I'm not sure what they can do about it.

Guess we're stuck with it at this point. I wonder if the Holdens have this issue?

I haven't seen it in person yet but it doesn't appear to be a very good design if they intentionally left that space there. I'll have to make a special trip down to a nearby dealer to get a first hand look at it.
