Today looked at our muffler and it is a straight through design from the factory. However there is a lot of baffling. I decided to first try straight pipe. Will post a sound clip. Sounds nice at WOT. Drones a little but very livable.

they are actually chambered mufflers

So, did you delete the mid-section and the rear mufflers? Most local muffler shops will do this. Just paying for time and pipe. Of course I live in TX and loud pipes are a way of life around here.

Only muffler. Will go back at some point and get the resonator removed too.

Man, that's pretty good for just the mufflers. I thought it was both buffer sections. Now I'm wondering how much louder it would be without the resonator section.
