Ok fellas,
Here it is. The moment we've been waiting for... (well actually that moment is probably when you receive the SS, but this is the moment before that). The SS start up!

That is an awesome sounding rumble coming out of the SS. This gets me excited! And that is just the standard model? Will there be more powerful engines in different trim levels?

that doesn't sound too bad at all, it reminds me a bit of how a german V8 sounds in some ways, even a british v8

Quad tips are going to be for the SS ZL1, Supercharger and all... Maybe? I bet if we start the rumor we can get GM to believe they planned it all along Spread the word :trollFace:

The Aus spec SS gets quad tips and the US spec gets duals. I know Asylum said that it sounds pretty awesome on start up and that the front seats are freakin awesome compared to the Aussie front seats.

If I was there I would have screamed "GIVE HER!!!!!!"

It's just right at idle but that probable was just a cold start, it'll quiet down once warm.

Photos were taken in Las Vegas. Spring Mountain Motorsports to be exact. That's where some of the secret-squirrel testing was done.

The car sounds a lot better than most cars at start up. Besides, the quality of the video doesn't do the rumble justice. If you've heard a Camaro SS start up, it's the exact same. Try getting that rumble out of an Audi S4 or a BMW 335i :smile:

Well my 2SS 2013 Camaro auto doesn't sound like that.

The Camaro's with automatic's don't have the LS3, they have the L99. Also, you need the dual mode exhaust on the Camaro to sound like that (my 2013 Camaro 1LE has it and sounds like that). Dual mode exhaust is not available with the automatic because of the automated fuel management on the automatic.

We Aussies can get that fender vent in Graphite Black. Would go well with black rims
