Anyone have Forgelines like this Satin black? I have gloss black Holden standard wheels, but they are thick and hide the red Brembo calipers some. The flatter black seems good too. These are $$$$ though.

Just mounted these as my track rims. They were dirt cheap closeouts on eBay $400 for the brand new. They are Privat Reserves, brand looks like it is defunct now. 19x9.5 et40. Needed to use 5mm spacers to clear the front calipers. Tires are Michelin Cup2s 265/35-19 square. Wanted to go 275s, but got an amazing deal on these.

Looking for some budget track wheels also.

im looking for some inexpensive track wheels also. are You running same rims on front and rear? I was thinking of going with 17” or 18” square depending on cost of tires.
Yeah, I'm running a square setup so that I can rotate the wheels and get more life out the tires. I'm not sure you'll find a 17" that will fit over the brakes. I wanted to go with 18x9.5" and run 275s all around, because obviously 18s are cheaper a than 19s, and I'd like the extra sidewall. When I was looking I couldn't find anything that I could guarantee fitment that wasn't expensive, so I ended with what I've got.

If you're ok spending about $1200 on the wheels alone, I'd totally go with a set of Apex Wheels. They are great for track work, but I couldn't justify the cost. When a track weekend is $1k not including consumables, I try to be a cheap on things when I can.

Hey guys, does anyone know what type of wheels these are? It was posted on an SS Instagram page today and I commented asking what wheels they are but the account deleted my comment for some reason lol. I went through the wheel directory 2.0 on this site and also looked on ace alloys site because these look like something they would make but I couldnt find them. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

(Also, why do the headlights seem green? just curious if anyone knows)

Clearly the car has caught some strain of The 'Rona, that explains the tinge of green...

In the market for black wheels that don't require and folding or spacers and that OEM sized tires can slip on.

Any good recommendations and prices?

Just put these on today. Camaro ss. Not sure what year(s) they are from. 20x8.5 and 20x9.5. I’ll take more pics when I get a chance

Does anyone know if there are any 18 inch wheels that can handle 275 or 285 wide tires for our SSes? I've only seen 245 on this list.
Need some opinions on this setup

I currently have the set of VMR 804s linked in this thread with 255 40 19 on the fronts and 285 35 19 on the rear

If anyone read about my latest track excursion I am looking for a wider front tire, I am currently at the stock ride height and have little interest in lowering the car.

I am looking at the Forgestar F14s with a square setup using a 9.5" wheel +35 running 275s up front and 285s out back. Not super thrilled about the extra poke on the back but my main concern are the fronts. Right now I have ~.75" clearance from the shoulder to the strut with -1° camber will I have any issues going to a 9.5" wheel? I would also like to get some more camber out of the new setup if room permits.

Will They Fit it says I will be 12.7mm closer to the strut which means I will have about .25" clearance from where I am now.
2
9.5" +35 wheels will probably require a fender roll in the back, and may need a 3mm spacer at max front camber with stock adjustments, but those are both easy enough.

My track wheels: Enkei Kojin 18x9.5 +35, square, with 275/40-18 Hankook RS4 in this picture, since replaced with Kumho Ecsta V730 in 275/35-18 (they're very cheap, and reportedly even good).

The 275-width RS4s slightly rubbed the strut at 1.5 degrees camber, and the rears (due to being 20mm out from stock placement) need a fender roll at full compression. Inboard spacing on the front is the same as stock: the extra 1" of wheel is all on the outside.

This wheel combo clears 6 piston GM front brakes with about 3mm of barrel to caliper clearance, and plenty of spoke clearance. This photo is from when I learned that I need to put aluminum tape over my wheel weights, or the adhesive will melt when I park the car:

I just checked outboard rear clearance, and from this starting point (1" further out than stock) there's approximately zero extra space: I'll need a more aggressive fender roll for any extra tire, or staggered wheels or a big front spacer and higher offset wheels. The good news about this is 275 tires are a lot cheaper than 295 or 305s, and there are a lot more 9.5" wheels than 10.5 or 11s.

I ended up going with the same setup Zeus has Apex EC-7 18x9.5 et35 (with 3mm spacers up front) which is the same setup you are using. I had the rear fenders rolled a few years ago and haven't had any issue with rubbing at the track. My front camber is -1.7° I also didn't notice any issues. The only thing I will change is the sidewall, due to inventory constraints with the Supercar 3s I had to run a 40 sidewall instead of a 35.

What size tires are you running?
You Track the car often? Thoughts on it?

Nice number choice..:)

275/40-18 square, I wanted 35s but they were on back order and well the track was calling.....

3-4 times a year, I have done 15 sessions on the new setup so ~150 laps and they helped dial out some of the understeer and going from a 285 in the rear to a 275 has made it a little more entertaining

Not many people picked up on the number my kids were bummed I switched from 14.....

You run this set up daily on the street as well?
Also lowered??
Been debating on going 18's or stuffing 19's square somehow.
