Wonder how many 2014 models are on dealer lots unsold to date?????
I know of at least 3 that have been sitting on lots since December. 1 of them is less than 1 mile from me right now.I would think not any, or at least will not last more then two weeks...Just my opinion. As the word gets out about the SS and more being seen on the road. The word about the car is spreading fast, and I would guess people are out there looking and calling dealers all over...
You should pay them a visit in your new SS and mention that to them.:soapbox:I know of at least 3 that have been sitting on lots since December. 1 of them is less than 1 mile from me right now.
Sadly, they could have sold it to me the day it rolled off the truck had they been willing to sell it on the GM Employee discount. Instead, I had to drive to another dealer 120 miles away.
You may have been the 2nd one sold.
So do we. We have 5 of them. We've sold 3 out of total of 8.There are a few that have been on lot here for almost 2 months sitting right out front on very busy main drag?? Don't understand it?
Like they say, the only one's that will be interested in this car are the enthusiasts. The average person will see it, see rear wheel drive and a gas guzzler tax and stay away. Think about how many people you know that go out of their way to save a few pennies on gas. (Stop and Shop points, BJ's gas, etc) I even have a friend that fills gas canisters and keeps them in his garage so he can stock up when the prices are down a bit.So do we. These are just not mainstream cars at present.

This car is only going to be purchased by the type of person who understands what it is, and loves it for that.
Isn't there like a 16K price difference between the two though? That would be one heck of a salesman.Yes and no. I think a good salesman could up sell a impala driver if they tried. I know that has to be the other black SS I see driving around...and up sell.
