Even though I intended on installing my 22s sometime this year, it comes earlier than I thought. Those summer only tires are too sketchy while still winter here in MI. My 22s have All Season tires, so I put them on. They are 38mm offset, had to use a 5.5mm spacer up front to clear the Brembos. Those Calipers are MONSTER.

Drove across the street last night to snap a pic. I'll post a better daylight pic soon.

I like them on the SS as much as I did on the G8, just not sure if I wanna run them anymore. They may go up for sale like everything else I took off the G8.

Only on the internet did anyone not like them on the G8, Cannot even stop to get gas without getting compliments on the car. The wheels are usually the reason people even notice the car (The SS and the G8) and young/Old/male/female etc all compliment the car with the wheels on it. During the winter months and driving my G8 on stock wheels, Not one single person even notices the car or compliments it.

Must be a "Pictures don't do it justice" type thing. Or that for some reason people think only a certain "Stlye or Look" belongs on a performance sedan.

I ran an 11.88 during perfect weather on my "Drag Pack" in the G8 which was my best pass followed by an 11.90

we went to the track to play with a buddies CTS-V on an 86degree day, DA was horrible and it was Hott and Humid. Even so, on the 22s I ran a 12.4 and beat the CTS-V several times we ran a grudge race.

Squatting off the line!

Looks better in the Daylight.

Will get a few pics up later in the daylight. Like I said, on the forums is the only place I get the Neg feedback, so oh well. Can't please everybody. Makes me happy, so that's all that matters.

As long as you like it - that's the main thing.

But IMO they look laughable on both cars. I don't think everyone that is "complimenting" you is being genuine. My guess is they are just trying to see your reaction and laughing once they are out of earshot.

PS - nice to see you keeping that racing crap off the streets. Be safe first.

tasteful 20's that look very much like the stock wheels or compliment the car are about as far as i would go on a four door like the SS.

IMO the wheel wells on the SS need more fill. I would tint the windows within the legal limits and do the Holden conversion with the SSV badge. For me, that's it.

You guys crack me up! The car was not even lifted, oh well. Opinions are like assholes, everyone has em and they usually stink.

22's fill the wells nicely. I was thinking 21's with a nice shouldered tire would be nice with lowered springs or coil overs. I'm torn.
