I pulled the rear wheels and used good quality high temperature paint which should solve the rusting problem. Looks 100% better. Replaced the bowtie with the corvette logo to honor the ls3. I think the SS logos on each front door really adds a lot. Only have 600 miles but nobody I have run into knows what this is. That part is almost as fun as driving it. Have owned three SS's in the past, 64, 72, 08. I have never driven anything that comes anywhere close to this car. Hope everyone is having as much fun as I am.

Nice. I like the SS on the doors, and the rear drums look great. I would consider pulling the dealer badge off of the trunk, and making the rear SS logo red like the side(s). Nice work.

Why is that? My wife and I looked at a brand new SS yesterday and the front wheel inner hubs had rust on them. For a car never driven in the winter salt here in NY, it kind of bothered me to see it.

Mad Max, Went to U of M also. Haven't missed a football game in three years. Live 320 mi. away so can't wait to put my SS to good use. Get ready as this is going to be a great year. Go Griz

Cool glad you're not a Cats fan. Was there 1984 - 1986 for jr and sr years. I was in Knowles hall both years.

zekester75--------Google "2014 C7 Corvette Stingray GM OEM Rear Bumper Emblem" Part number 23109577 according to that site on Ebay. It certainly creates some interesting conversations. I figured the Corvette engine deserved some recognition. Good luck.

I second this... I have a '15 SIM SS, A6, on order, and I've owned 3 corvettes (ordering Corvette #4, 2016 Z06, 3LZ soon) previously. Putting a Vette emblem on anything but a Corvette is never a good idea. I can appreciate your enthusiasm, yet it is wise to keep it an SS only.

The emblem fit the trunk lid perfectly. It creates some interesting discussions but most people like it. I certainly do. Wouldn't have done it except for the lS3. Will try to find the part numbers for the SS on the doors. Think it was on ebay but it has been awhile. Never have forgotten anything before, hope this isn't the first time.

I think the crossed flags harkens back to the days when Chevrolet put similar crossed flags on all the SS optioned vehicles...I wonder if the C6 might be more appropriate since it is an LS3 but I like the look of the C7 flags better...
