A composite of screen grabs from the Holden Commodore VF configurator. Per the GM "hero card" these will be the available colors for the 2014 SS. (I couldn't find the green.) It's going to be hard to choose, but that White is striking.

White for me. Unless green is just too awesome to not pass up.
Never owned a white car, but that color looks great with the polished wheels.

Not doubting you or saying this may be wrong but how can you confirm that these colors will be on our 2014+ Chevrolet SS sedan's?

Just curious so I can get the ball rolling on picking out a color for my future chevy ss :D

The downside to seeing pictures of car colors like what we're seeing in this thread is that they will never look the same as seeing them in person, but definitely a good look at what to expect.

GM has a link to the SS spec card and it lists the available colors for 2014. The SS will always draw its color selection from Holden, although usually Holden offers more colors domestically in Australia than we get here. GM usually plays it safe, but they did bring over some wacky GTOs, like Purple, Yellow, Orange Bronze and a beautiful Barbados Blue.

The problem with the green is that the interiors are all black with RED bits.

The Black (phantom) takes the win for me. Look nice and stealthy in black so mean looking and gives it that edge. And the Heron white I can see it with red and blue lights coming in the near future roaming on the highways, do you think they would make the SS a highway patrol car? And if they do what performances would be upgraded? Form what i heard the previous police vehicles like the impalas and etc were chipped.

I'm liking the Phantom. Even the name sounds bada$$ :D

All the colors look pretty nice though. Or maybe I just like how the car looks from the side. hmm... You can really see a resemblance to the G8 from the side.
PBM requires a little more attention to keep pristine. When you buy the car, request that they not wash it for the delivery. If you can get to them before it's been unwrapped and put on the lot even better. (You can track cars coming in off the docks so it's possible to lock up your car a few weeks before it hits the dealer.)

The clear coat is soft on the Holdens and on the PBM cars it'll show every fine scratch and holographic swirl mark. Plan on cleaning and claying the entire surface, then build up multiple coats of a layerable show car polish (no wax) like the Zaino system.

Never machine wash the car unless it's completely touchless. If you want to machine polish, get a good random orbit polisher like the Porter-Cable. As long as the clear coat is well maintained and protected, PBM will look five miles deep. Holden's base coat is very smooth and glassy...no orange peel.

Here are some pics of Zaino'd PBM. There are other polish systems but I use Zaino exclusively. Very easy to get great results and not a lot of effort:

The link doesn't work.

I'd really like to see the official chevy ss color list, if Chevrolet took the spec card down I hope they re-up it again.

Didn't like many of those wacky colors offered on the GTO and it even showed with their sales. I have not seen one purple or orange bronze GTO on the street. It's always been one of the more simple looking colors, I spot a yellow one every so often.

And of course there the beautiful black that your GTO has!

I'm between PBM and Red Hot, although I could spring for some crazy Holden colors if available (Alchemy FTW).

That blue on the Daytona pace car would be killer too.
