SS Color Samples

So today on my 15 minute break in between class sessions I read MT article of the Z/28 (another car I'm excited about!) and read that five colors would be offered excluding the white that it was presented in. That's unfortunate because personally I thought it was amazing! That being said, I scoured the Internet and looked for the colors. I didn't find anything, but I did come across this on Z/28 forums!!!

A color grid and list of each chevrolet production colors. Included are the 5 colors offered for the 2014 SS!!! If anyone is good at photoshop they should try and apply the colors to see how it would look. I personally like the heron white and the red!

i think it would be hard to photoshop the colors on and have them end up looking good since it would be just one tone and not flow properly, still better than nothing. Plus it can't be too much longer till chevy updates it's website on pictures of the SS in all of it's 5 colors:

- Red Hot 2
- Phantom Black
- Silver Ice
- Mystic Green
- Heron White

Thanks for incorporating the color grid, I'm doin all of this on my phone at school so I couldn't put it on here, which color do you like?

Hard to say. You really gotta see the color on the car to choose.

the pictures i seen of a mystic green holden looked black from most angles until you view the car just right and you will see some green in their, in dim light mystic green is black with green tint.

I'm pretty sure I got all the Chevy SS colours posted as pics heres the link

I posted only the Chevy colours in that thread except the Silver. The first one isn't a chev colour but it is called Karma and looks real good in daylight. Fantale is another that looks better in person and I hope they make the full colour range plus Manual an option very soon.

here's the laguna blue listed above:

laguna blue with black wheels, trim, grille, etc.... along with yellow calipers look amazing! but calipers in a different color may be the way to go, a color of caliper that gives off a cleaner look is what I would want.

if the camaro is GM mystic green we have not see this colour yet, regal peacock is black with green tint.

Holdens aren't doing that green. I think it was Atomic here. it is either Regal Peacock or Prussian steel that will be the green.

Mystic green was the hardest one to find. I could only find that one pic with the Mustang and it was a prototype. It could be off.

A laguna blue SS with black wheels would look very sharp!

That laguna blue would be nice addition, but Chevy has already made up their mind on the colour options. Which I like, good diversity.

I think it's going to be Prussian steel. Somewhere else there is a pic of a Hummer in Mystic Green and it looks just like Prussian Steel. I do wonder why they didn't carry over many of the colors from the VE series though. Could it be because of the aluminum trunk lid (boot cover) and hood (bonnet)?

WIN! I don't like a lot of the oranges out there but this one looks amazing on the VF, seeing a real life picture of it would help since these computer renderings aren't usually that close to the real thing

Only five colors? I'd say Red, Black, White & Silver are standard offerings; therefore if you want something a little different, that leaves the buyer with the Mystic Green, which is a good color, but I'd like to see a nice shade of Purple, Blue & Orange in the offering.

Perhaps someone will Photoshop a few colors just for fun.
