How good was it? Similar to what they did years ago with Brockie & his A9X..
The GTS at quick glance looks almost like a G8 from the front......

They aren't coming back to TX next year (scheduling conflict with COTA), but the door is open for them to come back after next year. I saw them when they were here in Austin in May and it was very good, they could improve the racing a little by opening up the whole track and running softer tires, both things they mentioned after the May a race. So that should make it even more exciting to watch.

First year at a new venue is tough, especially in NA (NASCAR, Indycar and various other national level sports). there will no doubt be tweaking to the format the next time round. Does COTA have lights as that could be an interesting angle to the next event.
The extra year may also give more time to twin the event at another NA venue. to have two consecutive races, which I believe they are working toward.

The extra year gives me more time to save for a road trip holiday too.

I heard the same thing- V8s are trying to get another venue set up over here to make the trip make more sense. Guess that just didn't work out with COTA for next year, I think the Motocross races are happening the weekend the V8s wanted. No lights at the track yet either. That would be pretty awesome, but being a 3.4 mile circuit I imagine that is a pretty costly undertaking.

Thanks for sharing! Was about to try from my phone lol.

For those that are curious, the "Callaway" GTS is essentially a 4-door Pontiac GTO, and of course the Gen-F GTS is a hybrid of the Chevrolet SS and Camaro ZL-1. I was very impressed with the turn-in of the Gen-F! Not sure what traction setting they were using but looked like the torque vectoring system was working very well
