If I remember there is someone here that is on the production line?
Now that GM is now checking in here answering must take that into account for obvious employment reasons.
I was wondering if the SN3 spare wheel and the QSB spare tire are actually the production front wheel/tire as on the car or a generic aluminum wheel and spare tire combo as the sizes are the same as the front wheels/tire???
I was thinking since summer tires are not good here in the northeast, a viable option for 'everyday' driving and rotating could possibly be 4 front wheels and a set of michelin all weather HP tires. The tire diameters/rotations per mile are so close and the difference is only the extra width on the rear. I don't think it would mess up the computer algorithms and throw a warning/code but I'll email a GM engineer I know and see if he can come up with an answer but its hard because of the lawyers!
Thanks.
