Exactly what I was thinking. For daily driving the spare will be left in the garage to save on weight. For trips from Los Angeles to Las Vegas or San Diego the spare comes with. No way I am going to sit around in the desert for hours waiting for AAA.Got to love seeing a matching wheel, i didn't expect to see it, but for $500 it does make sense that it's what we get.
Is alone going to take out their spare? I would, and just throw it in when ever i go on a long and far drive
Awesome and THANKS!
Hey CB,Awesome and THANKS!
I asked this question earlier and now I got the answer ... the matching front wheel/tire.
But a further question for the chevy people ... is it with or without the TPM?
Just looked it up in the owners manual.I'm sure you can use this spare on the front OR rear to get you home.
But with it including the TPM sensor, I wonder if it means the DIC will inform the driver if/when the spare (while in the trunk) is low on air pressure?
Young padawan, most everything you seek has been done by the masters who came before you. Seek, and you shall find. :winkAnyone have the part number for the Spare is it different from the front wheel?
TY sirNot different, it's exactly the same.
