Got to love seeing a matching wheel, i didn't expect to see it, but for $500 it does make sense that it's what we get.

Is alone going to take out their spare? I would, and just throw it in when ever i go on a long and far drive

Exactly what I was thinking. For daily driving the spare will be left in the garage to save on weight. For trips from Los Angeles to Las Vegas or San Diego the spare comes with. No way I am going to sit around in the desert for hours waiting for AAA.

Here are photos of the spare tire. I know this has been in question and I wanted to provide some clarification with photos. This is a full size wheel and tire.

Awesome and THANKS!

I asked this question earlier and now I got the answer ... the matching front wheel/tire.

But a further question for the chevy people ... is it with or without the TPM?

Hey CB,

The spare tire does come with the TPMS.

I am glad that we are able to be here to answer your questions.

Have a wonderful day,

I'm sure you can use this spare on the front OR rear to get you home.
But with it including the TPM sensor, I wonder if it means the DIC will inform the driver if/when the spare (while in the trunk) is low on air pressure?

Just looked it up in the owners manual.
"The full-size spare includes a
sensor for the Tire Pressure Monitor
System (TPMS). The TPMS will not
monitor or display the spare tire air
pressure until the tire/wheel is
installed at one of the four tire/wheel
positions on the vehicle and
matched to the new position."
You apparently have to manually tell computer when you mount a new tire or rotate the tires.

Anyone have the part number for the Spare is it different from the front wheel?
Young padawan, most everything you seek has been done by the masters who came before you. Seek, and you shall find. :wink

Exactly the same wheel and tire as the front in my 2016. The funny thing is on my 2016 at least the wheel has a sticker on it that says "for temporary use only"
