Spare question

2625 Views 13 Replies 8 Participants Last post by  GXPaycheck
I bought my car on Friday without a spare. I was a dummy and didn't have them include one. Now I've decided that I'm not comfortable with just the inflation kit and want one. I know that on the invoice for cars that come with one, it lists it at $500. Is that a donut or full size tire/wheel? My parts department is saying that I have to get a full size wheel/tire and that it's roughly $1200 together. Can anyone who's car came with the spare help me out and tell me what it came with and what I need?

Thanks,
Danielle

I would have rather done without the spare I got and saved the $500.00
Okay then, why don't you sell yours to Danielle for $500+ shipping?
Maybe a little more for the hassle..... just sayin'

I don't think you're wrong Danielle, as you are a loyal customer, I think they should help you as much as they can.
Good member Bill Harper posted this:

Which gives dealer cost of $597 plus $50 core for the wheel, so they should be able to do something I think?
